The Ethical Society of Boston is a humanist religious and educational fellowship without formal creed or dogma. We are a community, joined together to help develop our ethical ideals, to celebrate life's joys and support one another through life's crises, and to work together for the improvement of our world and the future of our children. Membership is open to those who agree with our principles regardless of racial, religious or national origin. The Ethical Society is part of the larger Ethical Culture movement whose member societies are joined together through the American Ethical Union, headquartered in New York, NY.
Our Sunday Platform Meetings are held at 33 Garden Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts each Sunday at 10:30 A.M. on a more or less academic calendar. Platforms include readings, music, a featured guest speaker and discussion. We also give a series of short courses called the School for Ethics that explore ethics in society, personal relationships and the arts.
We also have Ethical Officiants available to perform non-denominational weddings and other ceremonies.

Compassion and Choices of Greater Boston was established as the Greater Boston Hemlock Society in l988. It later evolved into End-of-Life Choices Boston, and now is known by the present name above. It is a chapter of Compassion & Choices, a national umbrella group of 30,000 members that was formed in January 2005, representing the merger of two major national organizations, End-of Life-Choices and Compassion in Dying. The Harvard Secular Society provides a forum for reasoned, non-sectarian, and irreverent exploration of religious and philosophical subjects. Our weekly meetings consist of discussions, debates and lectures, as well as non-intellectual social activities (like watching Family Guy and playing paintball against a religious group).
